Aurelio Rodriguez is a cinematographer and photographer working in the Chicago neighborhoods of Pilsen and Little Village. Alongside creating videos and conducting photo shoots for artists from the neighborhoods, Rodriguez also curates art shows for younger artists in the area. Additionally, he has helped host and document art and music festivals in Little Village like Home Grown.
As an artist, Rodriguez has been painting since his early teenage years, acting as an apprentice for mural projects such as the JDEF Peace Project. He has also worked on multiple sets for both full-length and short films and has even directed his own short. He currently is the co-founder of a t-shirt brand called Happy Mayhem.
